SKYLINE PULSE

High above the Chicago skyline in the luxurious One Bennett Park condo building, our Skyline Pulse project features vibrant colors to match the energy and views of the city below.

The entryway sets the tone of this colorful pied-à-terre. Luxe materials, like the custom quartzite table and hand-forged iron supports under the bench, elevate the space. The chandelier is reminiscent of the lines of the bench legs, evoking cohesion throughout.

The dining room is a stunning continuation of color through the entryway. Painterly strokes on the blue wallpaper add visual texture and interest without overwhelming the eye. Antiqued mirrors tinted with a warm rust-color flank the window the window, drawing the eye out to the incredible city views while providing a throughline of color from the chandelier and dining chairs.

Beyond the dining room, the great room expands into the city views. Furniture is laid out in a way that provides different seating zones for different occasions, with a double-sided sofa anchoring the room while still feeling unified and cohesive. The incredible fireplace with built-in display shelving is the focal point of the room. With our integrated LED lighting in suspended glass shelves and showstopping stone surround, this great room is the crown jewel of the home.

The first of two offices in this home is off the formal living room, which is clad in a beautiful deep green and has floor-to-ceiling built-ins. Leaning more masculine, this office is perfect for conference calls or hiding out to catch the weekend’s sports highlights.

While keeping things in the first powder room on theme, we opted for the moodiest expression yet. The wallcovering continues the blue tones but adds an element of drama and darkness, using movement and tone to draw you in. The vanity and sink are clad in porcelain, giving the illusion that it is carved out of a piece of stone. A backlit mirror and trio of pendants add a touch of drama while also illuminating the space in a thoughtful way.

On the other end of the home, the family room features a custom graphic statement wall made up of stained rift-cut oak panels with display storage and integrated LEDs. The oversized sectional, wrapped in fabric that complements the custom stone coffee table, anchors the room and provides a "good" spot for everyone to enjoy.

The mirrors opposite the floor-to-ceiling windows reflect light and incredible lake views. We carried through the blue and orange tones from the rest of the space in a more muted tone here, allowing the statement wall to be the focus while keeping up cohesion with the rest of the space.

The second powder bathroom evokes the same electric and playful spirit as the rest of the home. A wall tile with organic shapes mirrors the custom artwork shapes from the great room, while the blue carries you through from room to room.

We kept the rest of the bathroom sleek and streamlined for the tile to stand out. Another porcelain-clad vanity gives the illusion of a solid stone accent piece while still providing storage. Wall-mounted fixtures keep the sink clean, while the rounded surfaces of the faucet carry through the organic shape.

The primary bedroom was designed to feel like a retreat in a luxury hotel. A custom headboard wall was designed to pull in the warm wood and brass tones from the rest of the home and create a warm backdrop for the bed. Floor-to-ceiling mirrors were installed behind custom floating nightstands, reflecting the view of the city and bouncing light from the pendants dropped in front of them. The nightstands were designed to hide all electric outlets while still ensuring they are easy to access for charging needs. A seating area next to the dresser provides a beautiful vignette of neutrals. Floor-to-ceiling drapes open and close with the push of a button (conveniently located right by each nightstand) to seal off any light and ensure a good night's sleep.

The custom closet exudes luxury with integrated lighting, shoe storage, and a middle island designed to store jewelry, accessories, and more.

The second office of this dreamy condo is decidedly more feminine. We carried the blue in a softer, more delicate shade, offering sophistication with gold accents. A mix of hidden and display storage provides function and beauty. Printers, spare cables, and the like can be hidden away.

The guest room rounds out our stunning Skyline Pulse project, where the vibrant palette reaches a fun crescendo. A deep navy blue is joined by gold and olive green and repeated in the graphic wallpaper above the custom headboard/nightstand piece, shared by two twin beds.
